Warhammer Next Week: Kill Team, Kill Team, Legions Imperialis, And Some More Kill Team

It is a big week for Kill Team in terms of pre-orders. A new boxed set, more updated rules, and of course, a whole new Killzone.

Good evening Kill Team players, this coming week’s pre-orders are for you. get ready to feast upon a cavalcade of new releases. Plus there’s some stuff for Legions Imperialis. Cool striders for the Dark Mechanicum. Enough mechanical spiders to upset anyone.

But first, more Kill Team. Starting with the new Brutal & Cunning box.

Kill Team Brutal & Cunning

The new Kill Team box pits Orks and Ratlings against each other. Conflict heats up in Hive Fissilicus and the Undermuzzle Barrens, and it is a match of brains vs. brawn that spills over into the new edition of Kill Team. In the box you’ll get the two kill teams, detailed below, as well as a bunch of Killzone terrain and all the tokens, etc. you’ll need.

The first of the two Kill Teams is the Wrecka crew, which is a Boss Nob, five Orks, and two Bomb Squigs.

Meanwhile, the Ratlings Kill Team run with ten Ratling Operatives, a Battlemutt and Ratling Fixer.

Of course if you want more Kill Team terrain, there’s the Volkus Killzone kit. This is the same terrain included in Hivestorm, but as a refresher, it includes 14 pieces of terrain all in all.

More Kill Teams, More Team Kills

Of course, you will always need more Kill Teams. Fortunately, there are plenty of opportunities to get more this coming week. You’ll be able to snag several Kill Team boxes, including the Vespid Stingwings, pictured above, which come with 11 Vespid Stingwings, who can be built as Strain Leader, Longsting, Swarmguard, or basic Vespid Warriors.

In the Tempestus Aquilons Kill Team x you’ll get 10 Tempestus Aquilons, who can be outfitted as specialists including Gunfighter, Marksman, and Precursor, or regular Aquilon Troopers. You’ll also get an Aquilon Servo-Sentry.

The Adepta Sororitas Aspirants Kill Team comes with 10 Novitiates who can be built as Condemnor, Duelist, and Hospitaller specialists.

Imperial Navy Breachers come crashing in with 10 Navy Breacher minis, who can also be built as Void-jamer, Grenadier, and Endurant specialists. You’ll also get a NAVIS C.A.T. unit.

The Hierotek Circle Kill Team comes with a Cryptek Technomancer, Plasmacyte Accelerator, and Reanimator along with five Necrons that can be built as Immortals or Deathmarks. You can even build a Despotek if you’re feeling particularly despotic.

In the Hearthkyn Salvagers you get all your space dwarf dreams come true. There are ten Hearthkyn Salvagers in the box, and you can make specialists including Lokatr, Dozr, and Jump Pack Warrior.

The Hand of the Archon is a Drukhari Kill Team from the depths of Commorragh. In this box you get ten Kabalite Warriors, who can alternately be built as Skysplinter Assassins, Crimson Duelists, Elixicants, and more.

But wait there’s still more. So much more. Including the Fellgor Ravagers Kill Team, which comes with ten Fellgor Ravagers and specialist options including Manglers, Shamans, and Fluxbrays.

Or go wild with the Farstalker Kinband. These Kroot are ready to make a meal of their enemies. You get ten Kroot Mercenaries with specialist options like Cold-blood, Tracker, and Pistolier, as well as two Kroot Hounds.

You could also snag the Death Krops Kill Team, which comes with ten troopers and specialist options like Confidant, Sniper, Spotter, and Zealot.

Break out the Arbites in the Exaction Squad Kill Team which comes with ten Adeptus Arbites Enforcers. Of course, these can be built as specialists like Castigators, Chirurgants, or Malocators. And you get a very good R-VR Cyber Mastiff.

And finally, we have the Blades of Khaine. This is an Aspect Warriors Kill Team, for sure. You get ten Striking Scorpions. One can be an Exarch. But, that’s as much specialization as they can do.

Legions Imperialis – Dark Mechanicum Spiders

Legions Imperialis is going strong. And here we have the Serperos Overlord Heavy Stalkers of the Dark Mechanicum leading the charge. These siege-breaking warmachines are covered with tech-heresy of all stripes.

But if that’s not enough for you, there’s the Dark Mechanicum Stalkers. These swarming attack constructs are carried by devastating Swarmhost scout constructs, and prove the Dark Mechanicum’s technological prowess.

Finally, the Thanatar-pattern Siege Automata bring ultra heavy weapons to any Legion of Mechanicum, dark or otherwise.
