‘Cyberpunk RED’s First Campaign ‘Hope Reborn’ Comes to Roll20 and Demiplane
Cyberpunk RED‘s first big campaign Hope Reborn lands on both Demiplane AND Roll20. Buy it once, but get it twice.
Pretty much what it says on the tin, folks. Cyberpunk RED‘s first big campaign, Tales of the Red: Hope Reborn vibes to two major platforms in tandem. Both Roll20, the popular virtual tabletop, and Demiplane, the digital tool repository—kind of like if D&D Beyond was available for any system—are getting the digital version of Hope Reborn.
And you won’t have to choose which platform to use, either. Because, as Roll20 explains in a BlueSky post, if you buy it once, you’ll get it twice. That is, if you pick it up on Demiplane, you’ll unlock the Roll20 package for free as well. So you’ll have multiple places to access your epic campaign from.
Cyberpunk RED: Hope Reborn on Roll20 and Demiplane Together
It is honestly refreshing to see a deal like this. I say this as someone who has seen a ton of walled gardens start to emerge. It’s a glimpse of the way the internet used to be. And maybe the way it will be again one day.
Sure, nothing will make computers feel as carefree and fun as they did when you had no responsibilities in your life aside from helping your older family members with their computers. As opposed to now, where you help your younger family members with their tablets. But, it’s nice to see the glimmer of more openness.
And it’s a good campaign too. It’s a gritty, street level campaign about saving a beloved bar that acts as a refuge from corporate oppression. And I don’t know about you, but refuges from corporate oppression, even fictional ones, should be protected at all cost.
“For decades, The Forlorn Hope’s been such a place: a bar where those Night City denizens who refuse to play by the Corporate rulebook go to unwind, connect, and reaffirm their humanity.
But in the Time of the Red, The Forlorn Hope’s in trouble! Will this classic Night City institution die a whimpering death or survive and thrive, helping the next generation of cyberpunks navigate life on The Edge? That’s a question only you and your Crew can answer.”
Happy adventuring, Chooms!
