Warhammer: PSA – LVO Previews This Week
This is just a friendly reminder that the Las Vegas Open is happening this week and the previews are coming!
We did cover this last week so consider this a gentle nudge to set an alarm and check your calendar. The Las Vegas Open is going to host the very first reveals for the year for Warhammer. It’s going to be a packed show and we’ve got few hints at what to expect.
The next Warhammer Preview is taking place during the Las Vegas Open in around two weeks’ time. We’ve got loads of exciting things to show off from Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, Warhammer: The Old World, and Necromunda, and news from Black Library.

I think it’s going to be a good preview overall and I’m looking forward to seeing what these teaser miniatures turn out to be. I’m also curious about any sort of road map updates for 2025.
We know the next three armies up for codex releases for 40k. We also know the Emperor’s Children are in development. So It’s going to be interesting to see if they are next. I have a feeling they are still a ways off, however.
I’m also curious about the state of Age of Sigmar. The new edition landed last summer and once again GW seems to be releasing new Battletomes at a steady pace…but slower that what the community would like. Personally, I think the intro/low level play is the best it’s ever been. Spearhead is a great addition and makes getting into playing super easy.
However, at the top end of competitive, things are looking a tad stale. I would chalk that up to the Faction Backs being relatively stagnate at this point. The December update was good but and the Armies of Renown were fun. But I don’t think those will drastically or dramatically shift the meta at this point. Basically: we need more Battletomes for AoS sooner rather than later.
I know not everyone is following along with the story of Necromunda but I think it’s been really cool lately. I’m sure GW will have some new reveals in terms of miniatures. We might get a new Gang or Guild or something else important to the setting. However, I’m curious to see where GW takes the current storyline. Between the rebellion, the not-quite Genestealers, and just general troubles brewing on the planet, Necromunda feels like it’s about to explode.
As far as The Old World, the Empire of Man is back with their range re-release. We also know the High Elves are on their way, too. It might be time to do a check in to see what other armies are waiting in the wings…
Gee…I wonder who could be next up…
