The Inhuman Royal Court character pack for Marvel: Crisis Protocol is up for pre-order and we’ve got a release date!

Mark your calendar for March 14, 2025 because that’s when the Inhuman Royal Court is getting released. This box is packing some potent Inhumans to bring to the tabletop just in time for the War of Kings.

Marvel: Crisis Protocol – Inhuman Royal Court $49.99

CP166 boosts the ranks of the Inhumans in Marvel: Crisis Protocol with Maximus the Mad, Karnak, and Gorgon, along with a more powerful version of King Black Bolt joining the fight. Exposed to the Terrigen Mist, these Inhumans are another exciting group of heroes and villains in the Marvel Universe.

With Inhumans already having made their initial debut in Marvel: Crisis Protocol, this pack will boost the options for players, providing more variety for this affiliation. Players already fielding Inhumans on the table should look to add this pack to their collection.

The box contains four Inhumans, three of which we haven’t seen before. And then there’s Black Bolt who’s getting a different/more powerful version to bring to the tabletop. Which is probably a good thing. Let’s just start with him since he’s supposed to be the king of the Inhumans.

This is his current version that will still be available once this box launches. On paper, his stats don’t look too bad especially once he flips to his injured side. He’s also the only leader of the Inhumans Affiliation currently. I’m curious to see what AMG has done with his new version to make him “more powerful.” I’m also curious if the new version will retain a leadership ability or if we’re going to see one of the other Inhumans in the box get one as well.

Of the other characters in the box I could see either Maximus the Mad or Karnak getting a leadership ability. Max because, well, he’s evil usurper-vibes for days. As for Karnak, he’s a master strategist and frankly his powers are a *tad* on the “I have the power of plot” side of things. A leadership ability that makes his team better could be designed to work around that.

I think Gorgon is just going to be a solid, heavy-hitter. He’s probably going to have some sort of earthquake/shockwave attack, too. Personally, I can’t wait to replay some Inhumans vs X-Men games. Pretty sure the Mutants have some beef they’d like to settle with the Inhumans…and I know which side I’m rooting for. I’m also hoping we get a World War Hulk one day, too.

Sorry, not sorry Black Bolt fans…I’m with Hulk for this round.

The Inhumans arrive in March along with the War of Kings for MCP!
