Build Your City and Survive the Winter in ‘Everdell Silverfrost’
In Everdell Silverfrost, among the dark and cold mountains of the south, only the bravest survive until spring, now on Kickstarter!
Silverfrost is the latest standalone expansion to the Everdell series, following the tailwind of Everdell Farshore, and just bit of a step up from My Li’l Everdell. This latest iteration takes place in the snow-capped Spirecrest mountains to the south of Everdell Valley, where only the strong survive the harsh cold nights.
Everdell Silverfrost Overview
Like the previous versions of Everdell, here players will be building and maintaining a city. But things are different in this harsh environment. Locations must be cleared of snow before they can be used, and fires must be maintained in order to keep citizens warms. Plus, completing quests for the Ranger’s Guild is a great way to keep your city prosperous.
On each player’s turn, they will usually either place a worker or play a card.
Workers can be placed on one of many various locations, but also some played cards will add new locations for you and your opponents. But Everdell Silverfrost has many new locations to visit: the Forge, the Hot Spring, or the moutaintop Beacon. So long as these locations aren’t covered in snow, of course! Clearing snow requires fire. The unique Ranger worker can collect fire by visiting any location alone.
As workers visit various locations, they will gain resources, which can be spent to play cards. These cards can be new locations to visit, provide one-time bonuses, or be helpful critters to join you. Critters can also be convinced to join you for free by lighting a fire in your chimney. As you might expect, fire is very useful in the fridgid mountains of Silverfrost.
Once spring arrives, the game is over and players count up their points. The player with the most points wins! Everdell Silverfrost brings a whole new selection of powerful and strategic cards to your Everdell collection. Most of which can be easily integrated into your existing collection.
