Horus Heresy: New Blood Angels Miniature For Aster Crohne, The Shroudmaker Revealed
The Blood Angels have a new character miniature joining the ranks. It’s time to meet Aster Crohne, the Shroudmaker in the Horus Heresy!
It’s a well known fact that the Blood Angels are mighty craftsmen. If they ever opened their own Etsy store, I’m confident they could make a killing. But instead of using those skills to make trinkets, they do other things — like make really fancy armor and weapons! Aster Crohne is coming with a brand new miniature and it’s clear that his armor has gotten the masterwork treatment!

His armor has so much filigree! He’s also got some custom modifications like that wrist-mounted flamer. He’s also got a custom axe called the Saiphan Shard-Axe. It’s perfect for when he needs to cut loose.
Aster Crohne is also well known as a level-headed commander on the battlefield. He’s got more special rules to help keep his forces effectively charging in enemy lines.
Bonus attacks and benefits even when the charge is considered Disordered? Seems like the Shroudmaker’s techniques stuck around long after the Horus Heresy-era. If you’re looking for his full rules you can find them in the The Martian Civil War supplement from GW.
As far as getting this miniature, you’ll be able to order him soon enough from Games Workshop directly. He’s been cast in Forge World Resin and is slated for pre-order later this year.
