It’s already March 2025. So let’s not waste anymore time and take a look at the Rumor Engines from March 2024 and see how those turned out.

How can it be that it’s already March 2025?! Are we in the future? How can time feel like it’s moving so fast and yet so slow? Forget time being a flat circle. It’s more like a hot pocket in an old microwave that only heats up some of it so you have those really mega hot spots combined with the still frozen bits. If you know, you know.

Anyhow, we’re not here to chit-chat about existential questions about time and how we experience it. We’re here to check in on the Rumor Engines from last year! So let’s dive in.

Rumor Engines From March 2024

March 5, 2024 – Fancy Axe

Status: Solved

We have an Old World Teaser for this one. It turns out that axe belonged to the new Dwarf Lord miniature.

March 12, 2024 – Prophecy or Poetry

This image came from the new Sanguinor miniature. While I can see the criticism for this miniature I do think the divisiveness was a tad overblown. It was exacerbated by the Stormcast Eternals getting an arguably better version of the same concept though. Still, I think it was nice homage to the previous version.

March 19, 2024 – The Bloody Blade

Status: Unsolved

Uh oh! Looks like we’ve still got a mystery on our hands. My previous guess was that this was some sort of blade belonging to a vampire. However, we’ve seen a lot of the upcoming Soulblight Gravelords update coming soon and, well, no bloody blades spotted. At least not like this. So what could this one be? Maybe we’ll find out in the next few weeks. Or could it be months away?!

March 26, 2024 – The Grim Drill

This one was indeed a servo-skull. What was surprising is that it belonged to a Sanguinary Priest. But you know what? I’d be okay with my medics getting an extra helping hand. Or skull in this case.

Well that’s all from March of 2024. We’ve still got one mystery left from those Rumor Engines! Oh boy oh boy…I wonder what it could be!
