Marvel: Crisis Protocol – The ‘Phoenix’ Is Unleashed This June
Atomic Mass Games has announced the pre-orders for Phoenix joining Marvel: Crisis Protocol. June is going to be a hot one!
It could be the hottest Summer on record because AMG is bringing the heat. Specifically with Jean Grey in her Phoenix form! It’s been a long time coming and now we have a release date as well as pre-orders available now.

Phoenix June Release Date
When you go over to the pre-order page we find out that the slated release date is June 13, 2025! That’s right around the corner, folks. (Also, how are we just two months away from June already?!) That said, we did get a little sneak-peak at her rules during AdeptiCon and she’s kinda bonkers.
For starters she’s got some really impressive defensive stats. Clocking 4/4/5 with 7 stamina. She starts as Size 2 with a medium move and she’s also a Threat 6. I say “starts at” because we do know there’s a transformation mechanic for her, too.
Before we go blind trying to decipher all abilities let me just sum them up. Phoenix has got two potent attacks — both are range 3 and cause incerate. Her Spender can actually heal for 1 damage instead of damaging allies caught in the area of the attack — and holy crap, that’s an A3 folks. She’s got a throw, and another direct heal (that also clears a single condition). Phoenix can also prevent allies from getting forcibly Advanced, Placed, or Pushed around.
But the big thing is that when she gets injured she basically becomes Phoenix Unleashed. We haven’t seen that card and I don’t know what she does — but I’m looking forward to finding out!
All that to say, she’s going to be a force to be reckoned with on the tabletop. Also, I was already impressed with this mini, but these new pics are just a showcase of how cool this model is! I can’t wait to paint this one up and get some games in with her. I feel like the X-Men are going to be quite popular this Summer.
