One of the most anticipated settings for Call of Cthulhu comes to Roll20 with Cthulhu by Gaslight’s Roll20 debut.

Call of Cthulhu is growing in popularity these last few years. And not just because the bleak reality makes you long for the stars to be right and sunken R’lyeh to rise once more. But also because the game keeps trying new things. In addition to a live show tour of Europe, Chaosium has recently released the core rulebooks for Cthulhu by Gaslight.

This is Cthulhu set in Victorian England. Where a love of occult, industrialization, and class divides mix and mingle with eldritch horrors and shadowy alleyways. A recipe for success if ever there was one.

Now you can find the core rulebooks for this setting on Roll20. So whether you want the Roll20 Investigator’s Guide or Keeper’s Guide, you’ve got them both on everyone’s favorite VTT that originally started out as a way for college friends to keep playing D&D together.

Cthulhu by Gaslight on Roll20

You can find both the core rulebooks for Cthulhu by Gaslight on the Roll20 Marketplace. A few things you’ll want to keep in mind: this is its own standalone game. You do not need the Call of Cthulhu core rules to play. Additionally these books come with full integration, including new character mechanics available in the character Builder, as well as a packet of maps, scenes, and more than 200 tokens for Investigators.

With the Keeper’s Guide, you not only get the core book, you get two introductory scenarios complete with maps, handouts, art, and NPC sheets as well. You’ll find basically everything you need to start running the game virtually, today.

If you’ve been curious about the new setting, and what rules changes it brings, now’s your chance. You can take the new occult skills and spells and astral combat rules for a spin yourself.
