Traveller, the long-running sci-fi RPG, has a new rebellion themed campaign out. Play as agents and saboteurs, ready to incite rebellion against the Imperial navy.

Traveller, the legendary sci-fi rpg just got a new campaign, from Mongoose Publishing. Traveller: The Fifth Frontier War is perfect for lapping up those pre-Andor season 2 vibes. Players take on the role of intelligence operatives assigned to foster rebellion and mayhem on the Spinward Front after the Imperial Navy is driven out of the Jewell system.

So if propaganda and bombs in the name of a galactic conflict sound like your idea of a fun time, you’ll want to check out this new campaign.

Personally, I love it when there’s a tight focus on a campaign. It gives you more meat to play with when coming up with your character concept. You start to see what else can take shape within the parameters of the campaign idea.

Traveller: The Fifth Frontier War – The Riverland

This will put you hip deep in the lore and setting of Traveller. It’s a great way to immerse yourself in the game if you’ve never played—the adventure has what you need to align yourselves to the ongoing conflict. Or, pick it up and run with it as your own spin on sci-fi sabotage!

“The Imperial Navy has been driven from the Jewell system, opening the way for Consulate forces to advance all across the Riverland Front. Paving the way for that advance is a team of Zhodani-aligned intelligence operatives tasked with fostering rebellion and mayhem on the Spinward Main.

The Travellers will be Zhodani operatives engaging in a mission which takes them from the wreckage of the Jewell Naval Base to Tureded, where they join forces with Ine Givar insurgents. This is a different face of the Fifth Frontier War, fought with bombs and propaganda, but no less critical than the great fleet battles.”

Just don’t ask about the Fourth Frontier War!
