AoS: Roadmap – What Kharadron Overlords Need

The future is bright for Age of Sigmar fans, and there are a few things I’m hoping we see for the aerial artificers- the Kharadron Overlords.
Welcome in, Generals of the Realms! We recently got a massive wolf box for the Gloomspite Gitz, and a box of bones was hot on their heels with the Soulblight. Games Workshop has given players some really awesome stuff to players with these special boxes, and they don’t seem to be slowing down. The roadmap is positively stacked with new armies, and 4.0 just keeps getting better. However, we don’t know what we’ll get in the upcoming drops (if we get anything at all). That doesn’t stop us from hoping, however, and there are a few things that I would love to see for another upcoming army, the Kharadron Overlords.

MOAR BOATS!

The Kharadron are known for a lot of things, but they’re by far the most famous for their aerial armada of steampunk boats. It isn’t unheard of for games against the Kharadron to go without a single dwarf touching the ground. While this might be a controversial take, I think they need…more. Three types of boat is cool for the Small, Medium, and Large approach, but I think we could expand that even more. Specifically, I’d love to see a single-model option as a ride for heroes. The Admiral deserves to ride up to the function in a whip of his own, and I would love to see the aerial equivalent of a jet ski.
Mechanical Manifestations
Kharadron, like most Duardin, aren’t much for magic. However, unlike their Fyreslayer cousins, they also lack many prayers. That tracks, honestly; the Kharadron put more stock in their alchemic creations than magic or divinity. However, I would love to see that change, in a way that fits the bronze beards. They shouldn’t necessarily have manifestations, but they should have a mechanical equivalent. I’d love the idea of a “wizard” for the Kharadron that can quickly build a mechanical wonder to unleash on the battlefield. It could be similar to their old Bottled Spell item.
What changes do you want to see for the Kharadron Overlords?
