Combat Patrols, Battleforces, and codexes — oh my! It’s time for Chaos to get a crack at pre-order from Games Workshop.

It’s a chaos double-whammy weekend from Games Workshop as the Death Guard and the World Eaters get a whole new batch of stuff. Personally, I’m a World Eaters fan and that’s where my loyalties lie between the two — but this weekend you don’t have to choose! If you’re lucky (or fast) enough you can snag one of the new Battleforces for these armies. Alternatively, their combat patrols are up and available this weekend. Sidenote: The Emperor’s Children are also getting their Combat Patrol this weekend, too. So you’ve got lots of goodies to grab.

Codex: World Eaters $60

The World Eaters are ferocious transhuman warriors driven by a burning need to unleash violent savagery. Once a Legion loyal to the Emperor, they long ago followed their Daemon Primarch, Angron, into worship of the Chaos God Khorne. Clad in power armour corrupted with the iconography of their dark god and clasping chainblades, they hurl themselves at the enemy, hacking and dismembering in a killing frenzy.

Codex: World Eaters is a vital book for collectors who enjoy setting the chosen of Khorne upon an unsuspecting galaxy. This impressive tome is packed with blood-soaked artwork, dread background material, inspiring photography, and the rules you need to unleash your ferocious warriors in games of Warhammer 40,000. You’ll find datasheets, Detachments, narrative Crusade rules, and a self-contained Combat Patrol section to help you fight tight, tactical games with your collection. This book will allow you to live out your worship of the Blood God no matter how you like to collect, paint, and play with your World Eaters.

Inside this 112-page hardback book, you’ll find:
– Brutal background material for these blood-soaked butchers, including their history and current skull-claiming activities
– Epic art and photography to inspire you to greater acts of conquest and massacre
– Rules for using the World Eaters and daemons of Khorne in games of Warhammer 40,000, with 30 datasheets, five Detachments, and two army-wide rules
– A set of rules to launch your own narrative Crusade, taking part in the Skull Harvest to claim the skulls of worthy foes, and earn the Boons of Khorne
– A guide to painting your Combat Patrol and rules for fielding the Frenzied Reavers in skirmish-sized games

This book also contains a one-use code to unlock Codex: World Eaters content in Warhammer 40,000: The App.

Codex: Death Guard $60

The Death Guard advance amidst rolling smog, spore-thick fumes, and whirling flies. Blessed by the Plague God Nurgle, these mutated warriors are incredibly resilient, their diseased bodies bloated with unclean flesh and melded to the plates of their hulking battle armour. They wield plague-ridden weapons that unleash the grim powers of alchemy, sorcery, and supernatural contagion to wither and ruin their foes.

World Eaters Dice $33.50

The World Eaters avoid and abhor sorcery, magic, and other such pretentious displays. Their prayers are voiced in the splash of arterial blood, the crunch of broken bones, and the wet thud of severed limbs.

This is a set of 16 square-cornered six-sided dice for use in games of Warhammer 40,000, themed around the World Eaters. They are cast in gem-effect blood-red acrylic plastic with bone-coloured ink markings, and measure 16mm along each edge. The 1-5 facings are traditionally pipped and each ‘6’ face is decorated with the dreaded icon of the World Eaters.

Nurgle’s own Death Guard worship their bloated god with a delight that belies their grim appearance, faithfully spreading his contagions and nursing them as though they are doting caregivers. Their worship is in the cycle of death, decay, and rebirth.

They are cast in pearlised purple acrylic plastic with green ink markings, and measure 16mm along each edge. Datasheet Cards: World Eaters $35

There are individual datasheet cards for every unit – detailing their profiles, wargear, options, and special abilities. They are an ideal way to easily check key information in the heat of battle. You’ll also find a reference card for the World Eaters army rule and special datasheet cards for use in Combat Patrol games.

Contains 35 Cards:

– 30x World Eaters Datasheet cards
– 4x Combat Patrol Datasheet cards

Combat Patrol: Emperor’s Children $170

The notorious Callous Blades warband is led by Lord Kaphrael, a figure whose arrogance is matched only by his skill at arms. As he calls out his victims and cuts them down in duels, he inspires his cavorting cohort to greater acts of debauched butchery. Surrounded by six Flawless Blades, few foes can withstand his attentions for long. The Infractors rush to fill in the gaps with a flurry of poisoned blades and point-blank bolt shells.

This box contains 17 plastic miniatures that represent a complete Callous Blades force for use in Combat Patrol games of Warhammer 40,000. It’s an ideal way to start an Emperor’s Children army, or easily add to an existing collection, and save money compared to buying the contents separately.

The Lord Exultant has several weapon options – a power fist, rapture lash, or plasma pistol in one hand, and a Phoenix power spear, power sword, or screamer pistol in the other.

Combat Patrol: World Eaters $170

The Daemon Prince Vorrakh has spilled oceans of blood, but it’s never enough. He leads a pack of crazed killers in a never-ending quest to collect skulls for Khorne. His Master of Executions helps lead the troops so he can focus on taking on the biggest targets, while the Berzerkers and Jakhals hack and gouge their way to gory victory.

This box contains 22 plastic miniatures that represent a complete Frenzied Reavers force for use in Combat Patrol games of Warhammer 40,000. It’s an ideal way to start a World Eaters army or easily add to an existing collection, and save money compared to buying the contents separately.

The Daemon Prince can be built with a wide variety of wargear and cosmetic options, including a sword or axe, optional wings, and a choice of five different heads – one of which is Khorne-themed.

The Khorne Berzerkers are armed with a mix of chainblades and bolt pistols – two of which can be replaced with plasma pistols, while two of them can be armed with double-handed eviscerators. One can be assembled as a Champion, armed with a third plasma pistol. The heads, power packs, and shoulder pads are interchangeable, making it easy to customise your blood-thirsty killers.

One of the Jakhals is a hulking Dishonoured armed with a skullsmasher, another can be given a two-handed mauler chainblade, and yet another with a skull-strung Jakhal icon. The kit also builds a Jakhal Pack Leader, and there are multiple chain weapons to choose from in the squad.

Combat Patrol: Death Guard $170

Sholgor the Putrid is a Lord of Virulence who leads his shambling Death Guard warband to battle surrounded by a bodyguard of Deathshroud Terminators, advancing implacably as his bloated Plague Marine forces unleash withering hails of firepower, supported by their corrupted Rhino. All the while Septimol Fulg, the Tallyman, makes note of their harvest.

This box contains 13 plastic miniatures that represent a complete Maggot Lords force for use in Combat Patrol games of Warhammer 40,000. It’s an ideal way to start a Death Guard army or easily add to an existing collection, and save money compared to buying the contents separately.

World Eaters Battleforce: Gorestorm Slaughterpack $240

The World Eaters have given themselves fully to Khorne. Some even allow Daemonic entities to possess them, granting them power far beyond their mortal limitations. Such is the case with the Slaughterbound – leaders of a sort who share their bodies with the spirit of a Bloodthirster, their mutated bodies twisted into little more than a living arsenal of blades, whirring teeth, and claws. In their wake follows a menagerie of frenzied warriors, ready to tear their foes limb from bloody limb.

This loaded box contains a World Eaters force for use in games of Warhammer 40,000. Led by a Slaughterbound, and supported by Eightbound and Exalted Eightbound, they are ideal for aggressive play. Two units of Jakhals round out the force, adding destructive potential in a more disposable form.

The Eightbound can alternatively be built as Exalted Eightbound, both with a variety of chainblades, and featuring a range of interchangeable and cosmetic options, making it easy to customise your possessed Chaos Space Marines.

One of the Jakhals in each unit is a hulking Dishonoured armed with skullsmasher mace, another can be given a two-handed mauler chainblade, and yet another with a skull-strung Jakhal icon. Each kit also builds a Jakhal Pack Leader, and there are interchangeable weapons, arms, and heads to personalise your savage killers.

No matter how you choose to build them, this box makes for a fantastic way to start a new World Eaters army, or expand your collection with a flexible set of impressive miniatures – and save money over buying each kit separately.

The Slaughterbound will be available separately at a later date. The other miniatures in this box are available separately.

This set of 42 cards will help you keep track of your Death Guard in games of Warhammer 40,000. There are individual datasheet cards for every unit – detailing their profiles, wargear, options, and special abilities. They are an ideal way to easily check key information in the heat of battle.
