This week it’s about another painted tank, a painting vow and the Iron Sleet Invitational!

Exterminator
As happy as I was with the Commissar Tank I think I really nailed it with this one though.
I think the yellow squadron marking was a good call as it creates a better contrast than the black on the Commissar Tank. I’m also starting to get a better grip of the painting process with this scheme so it’s easier to get the results I want.
I’ve got another tank on the go, the Demolisher. WiPs are here. Tanks are fun to paint so there will be loads more!
A painting vow
Over on B&C they’re running a painting vow challenge. I agreed with another DKoK painter to challenge each other to get our company command squads painted. Here’s the PiP.
Still a lot left but at least I got the basic colours in place.
Iron Sleet Invitational
For those who haven’t been over on Iron Sleet to check out the awesome combo of Migsula and the SpikyRat pack you should do so immediately!
The blog is quite new but they”re already hard at it, and especially with the Invitational. Now I’m not invited but the guys are kind enough to accept all entries in addition to those specifically invited. So the chance to make a colourful Inquisitor unit for my DKoK while continuing to push my skills in doing something like this was simply to good to miss!
With all of that said, here’s my eccentric Ordo Xenos Inquisitor, the Merciless with his bodyguards a combat servitor and a gun servitor.
