Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is a third-person shooter hack-n-slash video game developed by Relic Entertainment and published by THQ. The game was released for PlayStation 3, Windows, and Xbox 360 in North America, Australia, and Europe in September 2011 and Japan by publisher by CyberFront on October 2011.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II is a sequal third-person shooter hack-n-slash video game developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment. A sequel to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine (2011), the game was released for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X and Series S in September 2024.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and Space Marine II take place in Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 universe and features the Ultramarines chapter. Gameplay focuses on a hybrid shooting and melee combat model. The player engages enemies using a mix of both melee and ranged combat from a third-person point of view. The player controls Titus, an officer of the Ultramarines chapter Titus is accompanied by fellow Space Marines throughout the games who can be controlled by other players in the game's cooperative multiplayer mode or by artificial intelligence in single player.

The game utilizes ranged combat when facing weaker enemies (such as Orks and Tyranid), while hack and slash combat is required when fighting more powerful enemies (such as the Tyranid warriors and Ork Nobs) that can block incoming projectile damage. Players can parry an opponent's attack, though some hostile attacks are unblockable and therefore must be dodged. Additionally, the player can fight alongside Astra Militarum foot soldiers controlled by AI throughout sections of the game.
